All the Colors of Fall.... changing of the leaves!

My favorite time of year is Fall and especially the colors it brings. This is also when alot of stores are bringing out great home décor, seasonal or year-round. I looked around our local stores to see how they were inspired by nature.

Some of the main colors I saw used this season were avocado green, burnt orange, saffron yellow, chili red and, to add a twist, deep teal! Instead of the typical, muted color palette, these colors took on a brighter feel, making the fall season bright with color! Very similar to the colors of the leaves in our Northern Woods.

Avocado Green: A glance back to the 70s– we are seeing avocado green in larger pieces instead of just accents. This green is easily paired with neutrals or brights. Scentsy Warmers: English Ivy, Jadestone or Weave Green

Burnt Orange and Saffron Yellow: Both classic fall decorating colors. Many brave decorators use this combination in their homes year round. It’s a great way to add bold color to a room, still keeping a natural feel. Add some wood texture and copper accents to avoid too much of a good thing! Scentsy Warmers: Rooster, Sol or Maize

Chili Red: One of my favorite accent colors! Great in any room, it takes a fall turn when paired with warm colors and can also be used to accent cool colors. This year, red has taken a brighter hue -- not so much of the brick red we’ve seen in past seasons. This allows our favorite color to work with a broader palette. Scentsy Warmers: Boho Chic, Capri or LaPaz

Deep Teal: Teal makes a great addition to the fall palette, giving our favorite stand-by colors a needed update. This new accent color makes the push towards brightness a little more obvious. Scentsy Warmer: Hydro

Already using this colors? We'd love to hear about your favorite fall colors and how you decorate.
